TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that participants take out adequate travel insurance, in particular for cancellation and emergency repatriation in the event of medical problems. If you do not have travel insurance, you will not, under any circumstances, hold East Coast Explorers responsible for any personal expenditure that would have been covered by a normal fully inclusive Travel Insurance Policy.

ALTERATIONS EAST COAST EXPLORERS

Great care is taken to ensure that description, information and prices are provided by East Coast Explorers. Nevertheless, there may be times when a facility or visit is withdrawn as a result of factors beyond our control. We will always endeavor to find a satisfactory replacement with your input. Unless a change is significant and no suitable alternative can be provided, East Coast Explorers will not be liable to make any refunds. Similarly, we must retain the right to modify, postpone or cancel any tour, accommodation or arrangement, if unforeseen circumstances amounting to ‘force majeure’ arise. In such circumstances, we will inform you as soon as possible. If the tour is postponed, participants’ payments will be credited to the postponed tour. In the event a participant does not wish to commit to the new dates, payments will be refunded. Should the tour be canceled due to ‘force majeure’ all payments will be refunded. We shall not cancel any tour for reasons of political tension or natural disaster unless specifically recommended to do so by the relevant government office.

CANCELLATION

Due to the nature of our small business, you have up to 48 hours after booking to cancel your enrollment, less the fees (6%) associated with processing fees.  A refund can take up to 5 business days.
